User Account Removal Policy

What is this Policy and what does it cover?

We at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church take your privacy seriously and want you to understand how we handle your data, especially when you want to remove your user account or user data.

Permanently delete your account

Utilization of this app does not require a user account. Using a user account yields additional functionality and personalization. You may delete your user account at any time by:

• Tap the user menu in the upper right corner of the app and selecting Settings
• From the bottom of the Settings screen, select Close My Account
• On the Request User Account Removal screen, please read the instructions in detail to confirm you understand the process in full, then check the checkbox to indicate you understand the limitations of the process, and click Submit.

When you choose to Request User Account Removal, your request will be sent to a staff person at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church for review. Our staff will review your request and reach out to you to confirm the request and the details of your data. It may be necessary - by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence - for us to maintain some or all of your personal information. For example, we are legally required to retain donation records in order to comply with regulations from the Internal Revenue Service. When we reach out to you, our staff will disclose these requirements to you in detail. It may take up to 90 days to remove your user account after we begin the process or receive your request.
